Hi, my daughter is 2.5 years old and has unilateral microphthalmia/PHPV (left eye) and wears a prosthetic shell.
A friend of mine told me I could find support groups for parents & children with the same condition and I found this website!
She’s growing and I feel ill prepared to what lies ahead!
    Thanks in advance!

There are many adaptive programs available at many New England ski resorts. In Massachusetts, I am familiar with Wachusett’s and Nashoba’s program. In New Hampshire, we have experienced both Loon and Waterville Valley, Sunday River in Maine and several in Vermont. You can contact any of the mountains or Google “Adaptive Skiing Programs New England” and I am sure you will find several connections.

Can I ask if you have Spanish-speaking parents who might be available to talk with someone who is new to Family TIES and the world of vision impairment? We’d much love to hear from you. Thank you, too, for all the wonderful supports you offer to families in Massachusetts!
